Gentse Feesten is an annual city festival in the most rock ‘n roll city in Belgium! Because the line-up on the official website can get a bit overwhelming, we’ve done the research for you and present you with an overview of all the rock & metal related activities we could find during those 10 crazy days! Whatever you choose to do, be sure to check out our own GRIMMse Feesten!

If you’re hanging around town be sure to catch the performance of The Pish Dolls. 13 minutes of puppet street theater with Barbie and Ken as heavy metal rockers! Today at Onderstraat at 3pm and at Belfort/Botermarkt at 4pm.

Bring out your party boots because you won’t be able to stand still at the medieval folky tunes of Prima Nocta when they take the stage at the Korenmarkt at 8pm! Their performance is becoming somewhat of an annual tradition and it’s the perfect chance for a dancing party!

Almost there! Kinky Star continues with a night in collaboration with Consouling Sounds! Who could be that secret gig?? Free entrance! We copied the Dutch descriptions of the events, if you need more to get convinced: go check out the music online or just be adventurous and go anyway…

22u – KUAR NHIAL
Duistere gitaarriffs en groovy baslijnen, gedreven door instinctieve drums en straight-from-the-gut vocals. Laat u vervoeren door de atmosferische vibes van Kuar Nhial, een band met mysterieuze naam én mysterieuze tunes. De groep, met leden uit Vonnis en Barst, graaft diep in de menselijk psyche en brengt u zo in hogere sferen.

00u – Maudlin.
Maudlin deelt bandleden met Oscar & The Wolf en The Spectors. Een band die psychedelische rock herdefinieert en in het diepst van de ziel laat kijken. Dit concert belooft een intense belevenis te worden.
