Because the line-up on the official website can get a bit overwhelming, we’ve done the research for you and present you with an overview of all the rock & metal related activities we could find during those 10 crazy days! Friday July 13th
Typical for our beloved Kinky Star that they start the festivities already a day early! But the first heavier band only appears on stage after the stroke of midnight. Free entrance! We copied the Dutch descriptions of the events, if you need more to get convinced: go check out the music online or just be adventurous and go anyway…
01u – Oriens
Liefhebbers van gitaarherrie: wees welgekomen bij deze rockband uit Mortsel, bestaande uit acht met distortion besmeurde hersenhelften. Deze vier ruige mannen bezorgen je een intense ervaring vol vette riffs, al durven ze ook wel eens hun ziel te tonen. Denk hierbij aan rock van Deep Purple en Led Zeppelin tot Pink Floyd en zelfs Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.

The official ‘Day 1’ starts off only half a day later with a mostly punk and hardcore oriented line-up. Free entrance!
20u – Lil Dix
Apocalyptische new punk gebracht door een 3-koppig monster. Zelf omschrijven ze hun muziek als een mix tussen noisy post-hardcore, high-paced garage punk en spaced-out prog. Tegen alle verwachtingen in zal een vergrootglas niet nodig zijn.
22u – ERO GURO
Slechts één EP uit en nog niet lang bezig, maar toch al een performance om U tegen te zeggen. Dit kwartet brengt een onrustige, tegendraadse mix van hardcore punk en noise. Wacht rustig uw beurt af aan de moshpit.
00u- Roda Lits
oda Lits gooit een portie Cramps, Stooges, MC5 en Ramones in de blender, en slurpt daar aanstekelijke rock-tunes op verbluffend hoog niveau uit. Rietje meebrengen = plezier verzekerd.
02u – PIZZA KNIFE
Een band die leeft volgens het mantra van de drie p’s: pizza, pils en punkrock. Met nummers als Chicken Kebab, Erotic VHS en Shooting Boogers en een geflipte performance wankelen ze graag op de grenzen van absurditeit. Kortom: stevig dansen en vooral luide muziek a.k.a. pizza-georiënteerde punk.
