Untervoid bring the ‘Downfall of Angels’ with new music video
Polish black-death band Untervoid, known for their intense and uncompromising sound, have today released their new music video for the track “Downfall of Angels”. The song is featured on their debut album “Parasite“, which was released last September via Pagan Records.

The visually striking video, produced in collaboration with Grupa 13 (Behemoth, Amon Amarth, Tarja, Arch Enemy), was filmed in Wrocław in November 2024 and draws inspiration from the biblical motif of the expulsion of angels from heaven. It relates the rebellion and subsequent judgment of these celestial beings, culminating in their dramatic fall. The central figure, Lucifer, is portrayed in both male and female forms, defiantly mocking divine authority as descends from the heavens. The sheer horror of his fall is palpable amongst the observing angels, marking the beginning of his journey in the liminal space between divinity and the human world.
“Downfall of Angels” is the latest visual offering from Untervoid, following the release of the album “Parasite” last year. “Parasite” is a concept album that delves into the anxieties of our time, exploring humanity’s role as a parasitic force on society and the planet.
Untervoid was formed in 2015 by Destroyer (Redemptor, ex-Hate, ex-Kriegsmaschine) and Adam Sierżęga (Armagedon, Azarath (live)), with Haldor Grunberg (Thaw, Mentor) joining in 2024. The band has built a strong reputation since their self-titled EP in 2018 for their intense live performances and their powerfully dark soundscapes.
