They just recently unleashed a new video single with ‘Get Your Sh!t Together’, out via Arising Empire, and will be roaming through Europe as support for Within Temptation later this year!

They announced it a couple of weeks ago and with the announcement came the new single ‘Oscillator’, which has been played quite a few times here, what a banger!

Swedish metal vikings Brothers Of Metal revealed with ‘Heavy Metal Viking’ the first song from their upcoming new album ‘Fimbulvinter’, set for release in November via AFM Records! Interviews

We sat down with Jessie and Eleni of Ankor after their show at this year’s Tuska Festival, the last stop of a crazy weekend that took them to 3 different countries in 3 days, and had a short chat about their busy summer, the way they like to release new music and how 2024 really seems to be a big year for the band.

Yesterday, they announced a major European tour for 2025 which will take them to most countries of the continent. You won’t want to miss out on that, tickets are available starting tomorrow!

We sat down with Onni and Kevin from Assemble the Chariots at Tuska 2024 to talk about their new album ‘Unyielding Night’ (set for release on July 19th via Seek and Strike), how this is the start of a whole universe they’re creating, with the sound they’ve always envisioned for the band from the beginning. And we came back from the talk with 2 things ingrained in our heads: listen to the album from start to finish, and make sure you make it to the release show at On The Rocks in Helsinki where they’ll play the album in its whole for what sounds like a unique experience…

Lists

The second day of Tuska 2024 will get at least as exciting as the day before, we highly recommend you don’t sit out on the shows of Ankor, VOLA, Solence, St. Aurora, Make Them Suffer, I Am Your God, Bring Me The Horizon and The Abbey!

While it’s a given that as a metalfan you’ll want to catch shows of Dimmu Borgir and Kerry King today at the first day of Tuska, we think that there are a couple more bands that deserve some of your attention, or that we think will be even more epic to see live than you might suspect with editorial picks Lord of the Lost’s festival opening show, I Am The Night, Infected Rain, Krypta, Suburban Tribe, Assemble The Chariots, Zeal & Ardor and Pendulum!
