4 years in the making and it was worth the wait. Ensiferum does a throw to album of the year where epic, gloomy, atmospheric, and melodic are some of the words to describe this journey that is ‘Winter Storm’, out via Metal Blade Records on October 18!

Gorgon may have a different approach to symphonic death metal but from my point of view Elegy shows a fair effort from this band.

Interviews

And we came back from the talk with 2 things ingrained in our heads: listen to the album from start to finish, and make sure you make it to the release show at On The Rocks in Helsinki where they’ll play the album in its whole for what sounds like a unique experience…

We were able to talk to Astrid from Belgian symphonic death outfit Inhuman to hear her out about the new album!
