With 2021 being again a bit of a weird year, while looking forward to a hopefully better 2022, lets look back at some of the albums I enjoyed the most this past year.

On the last day of March 2024, there was a wonderful German punk rock evening taking place at Stuttgart’s LKA Longhorn. Berlin 2.0, Drei Meter Feldweg and Schmutzki – a beautifully staffed German language party night took place. No fancy bling-bling, just pure rock and punk in a packed to the core venue.
Sami Yaffa has worn multiple hats in various different bands such as Hanoi Rocks, Pelle Miljoona OY, New York Dolls, The Hellacopters, just to name a few but now in his 60s he is still going stronger than ever! This legendary bassist just released his second solo album in his illustrious career titled “Satan’s Helpers, Warlazer Eyes & The Money Pig Circus” and brought the album in its entirety to a packed Tavastia in Helsinki!

Right in the beginning of this month, Michael Monroe, Sami Yaffa, Nasty Suicide and Karl Rockfist showed what a true rock ‘n’ roll show is when Demolition 23. took over the legendary Tavastia in Helsinki for a fully sold out show. This night was the epitome of what a rock ‘n’ roll show should be, brought to us by true legends of the Finnish rock scene!
People at the Backstage venue in Munich were eager to see The Baboon Show play the songs of their new album ‘God Bless You All’ live, and we were not disappointed! What an energetic punk and rock ‘n’ roll show was that! Support came from the equally killer Spiders, both bands you need to go see live whenever you can!
Dropkick Murphys got the Munich crowd rocking two nights in a row at a sold out Zenith Kulturhalle, in the company of singer-songwriter Jesse Ahern, fellow Celtic punks The Rumjacks and punk royalty Pennywise.
Canadian Billy Talent stopped in Munich to celebrate a night of celebration, friendship and love of neighbors, with support from the British Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls and Berlin based punk rock outfit Pabst!
Sum 41 came to set Vorst Nationaal in Belgium on fire. They brought Cassyette and Simple Plan to support them in giving everyone a great evening.
