Every year we like to look back at the amazing shows we captured, and in 2024 Anna/ScarletMemory Photography covered bands like Vola, Apulanta, Marko Hietala, Cyan Kicks, Stam1na, Kotiteollisuus, Blind Channel, Cyhra, Sigh, Everwave, Sonata Arctica, Neonfly, Altamullan Road, Avatar, Raskasta Joulua, Beatrix, Battle Beast, Steve ‘n’ Seagulls, Áilu Valle, Amoc and Trio Boogiemen mostly in Tampere, Finland!

Finland’s band of misfits King Satan released their latest album ‘The Devil’s Evangelion’ via Noble Demon, and such an epic album deserves a proper release tour of course. With them, they brought their friends of the dark elektro duo Miseria Ultima to open the night, and doomy outfit The Abbey as direct support at the Helsinki stop. An excellent night of great music and friends, and with all bands in absolute top form!

Vola

We caught Vola before on their European tour when they visited Finland. But on this night we managed to see them again, this time in Eindhoven, Netherlands. And with their special guest Charlotte Wessels playing somewhat of a home show, the night turned into an unforgettable one for sure!

On the back of the release of their latest album ‘Friend of a Phantom’, VOLA embarked on an extensive European tour and dropped by Vanha Ylioppilastalo in Helsinki, Finland in November to repeat the amazing performance they had at Tuska this past summer! With them, they brought the ever enchanting Charlotte Wessels and Feather Mountains. An event by TuskaLive.

Pop Evil and Bad Wolves joined forces on the “Animal Instinct Tour” touring through the US, bringing along Sierra Pilot and ONI for the ride! We caught them at their Thanksgiving eve show at Pierre’s in Ft. Wayne in Indiana!

Vola’s ‘Friend of a Phantom’ tour passed through Finland last week and hit Tampere’s Pakkahuone on Tuesday November 5th. It was a filled with emotion, not only from Vola, but also the support acts Feather Mountain and Charlotte Wessels. Eleine’s show at DVG Club Kortrijk was electrifying, with Ignea’s powerful performance setting the stage. Ignea’s captivating blend of progressive and symphonic metal, combined with Eleine’s dynamic stage presence and infectious energy, created an unforgettable evening for the enthusiastic audience.

Symphony X

Symphony X delivered a spectacular show on the stop at The Black Lab in Wasquehal, France of their European tour with support from Edge of Paradise!

This past summer, Assemble The Chariots released a monumentally epic debut full-length album, a concept album that is the first chapter of a massive world they’re building. And there was only one way to properly celebrate this: by having a release show, playing the album from start to finish live as it’s intended to be listened to. And with the addition of supporting guests acts IA and Lightbearer, it was truly a mind-bending night to remember for a long time!
