On September 6, a scorching hot Indian summer’s day, The GRIMM Rider rode out once again and went back in time to the eighties. The 1880s, that is, for a sold out evening of bluegrass and country with the Tejon Street Corner Thieves and The Dead South at OLT in Antwerp.
Brutus is really the sum of all of its components and although the songs are often loud and a bit dirty, they seem to be built up in a rather fragile way.
When talking about Brutus we’re talking about a band that delivers the same atmosphere and energy live as they produced it on their albums.
Finally! The Belgian lock down period is over and little by little we’re able to attend gigs again. be it small ones, but it’s something… My first show sure was something though!
