Album Reviews

Massacre’s fourth album “Resurgence” presents a real treat for the fans who had been waiting for the band to revive its classic raw sound.

On “Existence Is Futile”, Cradle Of Filth plunges into the dark horror themes of hell, the songs shimmer with innovative composition and are ultimately driven by the morbid principles of the Filths.

On ‘Torn Arteries’ Carcass takes us on a tour de force cycle of their musical evolution from old school death metal grindcore to technical melodeath.

The fourth album from thrash veterans Heathen was long overdue, but definitely worth the wait!

Through “Leviathan” Therion evokes the cinematic style of a movie soundtrack, the songs are diversified and highly textured. “Leviathan” is yet another jewel added to the crown of the band’s discography.

Canada’s melodeath mainstays Kataklysm are back with another banger of an album, not leaving a place in the world “Unconquered”!

To summarize everything, Amaranthe’s new album has you nailed to your speakers from the first to the last note.

“Despicable” is overtly melodic, well-executed, and ridiculously enjoyable this is certainly a solid release by Carcass.

On ‘Scriptures’ you should expect nothing but a groundbreaking performance and for this reason, Benediction’s latest record is inflated with that nostalgic old spirit.

Lamb Of God is back again with their typical groovy and heavy sound on a self-titled release, though nothing too surprising really.
