Marko Hietala had a special Valentine’s gift for us when he played a sold out show at Olympia-kortteli in Tampere. The show also included appearances from Noora Louhimo and JP Leppäluoto as guest vocals on some of his songs. Thanks Master Events for the access. Always a pleasure to see in a live setting, we’re all too happy to welcome him again on the Tuska stage this summer!

At the end of January, Battle Beast and Merta came through Tampere’s Pakkahuone for a powerful sold out show presented by Tuhdimmat Tahdit and Master Events.

Battle Beast turned Tamperes Pakkahuone into a circus when they came to town for their ‘The Circus is coming to Town’ tour. They also brought along One Desire, and together they delivered an evening packed of good music (and people). A production by Master Events.

We made it to the final show of this year’s Raskastan Joulua tour at the Nokia Arena in Tampere, saved by the band and Master Events from cancellation, and the perfect way to celebrate Christmas and heavy metal music in Finland!

Album Reviews

Finnish heavy metal band Battle Beast just released their new album »Circus of Doom«, on which they perfected their usual sound while still adding a lot of new flavours into the mix. Definitely recommended.

To summarize everything, Amaranthe’s new album has you nailed to your speakers from the first to the last note.

If you only want distorted guitars, then Battle Beast’s latest is 50/50 for you. If you want to hear the art of composing and the use of different elements that are mastered by the band, then this album will most definitely touch you.
