Album Reviews
‘Hädanfärd’ is an imperial black metal album that defines itself by the lofty musical arrangement and the outstanding performance of the Swedish quartet.
Heathen Deity conveys the finest elements of the second wave of black metal there’s definitely no doubt about the majestic sonic craft and the ostensible Nordic inspiration that courses through the song composition.
Warmoon Lord masterly conjures orcish themes and fantastic symphonies on the sophomore effort ‘Battlesspells’.
‘The Dread March of the Solemn Gods’ is a grim black metal album that involves many epic proportions. Highly recommended recommended for fans of Dissection, Bathory and Emperor.
Niht brings catchy rhythm and bass guitar merged beautifully. The recent work of the international duo seemed to be bound by precise musicianship.
“Heilsweg: O Udręce Ciała I Tułaczce Duszy” comes close to perfection the debut displays a melodic grandeur and stands as a sonic ideal in our contemporary times, recommended for fans of Mgła, Blaze of Perdition, and Ascension.
“La Morsure du Christ” beautifully emphasizes the majestic and the grim vocal performance, the songs are carried in the exuberant form of tremolo picked-riffs. Illustrating a powerful presentation throughout forty-four minutes of duration.
The Stone’s latest output is, without doubt, one of the worthy albums I’ve heard this year, the Slavic quintet has brought a mesmeric and aggressive musical work full of hooks and melodies.
“Ôfstân” is far from an average black metal album and I highly recommend this album to fans of pagan black metal.
Aethyrick music creates some of the most calming melodies and atmospheric qualities which makes them sound different from the Finnish black metal bands.
