The second edition of Hellsinki Metal promises to be again absolutely great! 2022 was yet again an exceptional year for music. After putting together the favorite releases of most of our members, we came to our editorial top featuring the latest releases from bands like Wolfheart, Muse, Ghost, Electric Callboy, Kreator, Malevolence, Heilung, Machine Head, Wiegedood, Psychonaut, Lorna Shore, Bad Omens, Sylvaine, Parkway Drive, Lamb Of God, Rammstein and Zeal & Ardor!
Another year has gone by, so it’s time again to reveal what albums have intrigued me the most last year.
2017 seems to be the year one-man projects had the biggest impact on C’kes listening habits!

Finally, after 3 years of waiting the “State of Unrest” tour transformed the magical music temple Ancienne Belgique into a pumping meltdown of metalheads. Lamb Of God was the absolute winner of moshpits and crowdsurfing while Kreator treated the German thrash fans. Municipal Waste was the excellent opening act to warm up the audience.

Tuska Sunday brought us legends like Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius and Kreator, a delightful show by Devin Townsend, a bombshell dropped by Jinjer and the perfect closer with Deftones!
