Beyond the Gates announced the first wave of bands for the 2025 edition with the return of King Diamond for the first time in almost 2 decades, special sets from Abbath, Triptykon and Destruction, and on top of that I Am Morbid, Hellbutcher, Hellripper and Dark Sonority!
We checked out the first day of the second edition of Hell’s Balls Belgium festival… With banging names like Triptykon, Primordial, Vltimas, the unofficial inclusion of the “Night Eternal tour” with Dark Tranquillity, Wolfheart and Moonspell, Carpathian Forest, Hellripper, Dead Head and The Monolith Deathcult, it was a true fest for any extreme metal fan!
Abbath and company came to Munich to show how black metal is done at the highest level. In their luggage came the American Toxic Holocaust and the Scottish Hellripper, who opened the night like two big explosions.
In 10 days, Kortrijk in Belgium, will turn the heavy up again with Hell’s Balls Belgium, just like they do every summer with Alcatraz festival. In case you weren’t sure yet why you should go, here are what we think are valid reasons for you to be there…
