We are still remembering the goth darkness we got to enjoy for a moment in the Helldorado stage tent at Alcatraz earlier this summer with Unto Others, and in a couple of weeks we’ll get to enjoy more of this new era of the band with their new album ‘Never, Neverland’ out via Century Media Records! Another single with ‘Momma Likes the Door Closed’ was released about a week ago, and it’s all we’ve ever wanted with heavy riffing and goth vibes!

Heavy metal titans Satan unleashed ‘Turn the Tide’, another single from their upcoming album ‘Songs In Crimson’ set for release in a couple of weeks via Metal Blade Records! Catch them on tour throughout the whole month of September, including a stop at our very own Asgaard venue!

While the summer is about to be wrapping up, we can already look ahead towards the summer of 2025, especially after Tuska just announced the first 16 confirmed acts for next year’s edition with Electric Callboy, Powerwolf, Nothing More, Orbit Culture, Kim Dracula, Korpiklaani, Marko Hietala, Tarja, Charlotte Wessels, thrown, Eihwar, Timo Rautiainen & Trio Niskalaukaus, Blood Command, Arion and Tyrantti and the first announced headliner with Lorna Shore!

One of our photographers went to the smaller, but wonderful festival TollRock in Germany a couple of weeks ago and was so kind to share some of his pictures with us of day 1 with Mötorblast, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons and Völkerball.

No festivals in Belgium this summer for Iron Maiden, but instead they came for an evening to the Sportpaleis venue in Antwerp for their fans to witness the heavy metal heroes live, with support of The Raven Age.

An Ice Nine Kills show is an absolute visual spectacle, and we were at one of their completely sold out shows in Finland at Vanha Ylioppilastalo in Helsinki with support from SKYND and Lansdowne!

Day 2 of Tuhdimmat Tahdit was just as hot. Carnival Academy, Heavy Metal Perse, Antony Parviainen Trio, Turmion Kätilöt, Metalite, Wolfheart, Shereign, Before the Dawn, Brymir, Mokoma, Swallow the Sun and lastly Battle Beast. Master Events gave us a festival that is certainly worth coming back to.

On the third day of Rockfest 2023, we weren’t able to capture as many bands as on the earlier days due to other responsibilities and some artists not wanting any pictures to be taken, but we still caught killer performances on the Red Stage by Soundi by Igorrr, The Hellacopters and Beast In Black!

This is a beast of an album. Trivium always goes down to the core of emotions. They go deep and you hear that in their albums.
