Things are getting ramped up now that the summer period is at its end! Great releases are coming out soon and it showed in the past week with new singles from Slipknot, Gaerea, Alien Weaponry, Brymir, Orbit Culture, Suasion ft. Steffi Pacson and The Callous Daoboys that amazed us!
The same struggle that comes back every single year: making a selection of the best albums of the year from all the quality releases it has brought forth, so here is the 2018 edition!

2018 was packed with excellent releases, but I managed to pick ten of my absolute favourites.

Gojira took over Europe on their massive ‘Fortitude’ tour with support from up-and-comers Alien Weaponry and Employed To Serve and we caught them at their show at a sold out Jäähalli in Helsinki, Finland in front of a crowd that was absolutely hungry for some good live show!
Alien Weaponry definitely killed it on their very first gig in Belgium at Le Cercle, on 09/08/2018. The New-Zealander trio knows how to rule a stage, be it through the sheer power of their performance, or their interaction with the crowd.

Metal mastodons Gojira came, saw and conquered a sold out Jäähalli in Helsinki, Finland with their amazing music and killer visuals back in July, with support from Alien Weaponry and Employed To Serve!
Finally, after all the delays, we got a double serving of the Gojira at 013 Poppodium in Tilburg, Netherlands. With both shows being sold out, they were quite the explosive nights, especially with added to that support acts Alien Weaponry and Employed to Serve!

Festival Reports
The third and last day of the excellent Alcatraz fesival brought us even more top bands like Meshuggah, Voivod and Powerwolf.
Sun, metal, beers and an ice skating rink as festival grounds. Dynamo Metalfest has it all. Day 2 report!
