Synlakross released new single and music video ‘Mental Breakdown’

SynlakrosS has released their new single/music video called “Mental Breakdown’”, included in their new album ‘Mental Parasites’ that will be released on October 3rd.

The band states:

‘This song is about the experience of having a mental breakdown, when anxiety peaks and you collapse. Due to the social pressure and depression that leads you to this mental crisis we can all identify with this song. There’s a lot of work to be done in the field of mental health. It’s a social debate that we should talk about more and more often.

Many people can relate to the lyrics. We hope that in some way they will release that burden. You’re not alone!’

This is the most experimental song and different from the rest of the songs that SynlakrosS has published to date. It has an atmosphere of its own. The music and the lyrics blend perfectly. The versatility and wide range of Patricia, the band’s vocalist, reflects that moment when our mind takes us to the limit. But the music is equally important and evocative, making use of synthesizers that accompany us throughout the song. Highly recommended! A real banger!

In case you don’t know them, SynlakrosS is a Spanish female fronted band which plays a Melodic Death Metal base with some of alternative metal, nu metal and metalcore influences. Sharp riffs and powerful rhythms accompanying a female voice with soft melodies and crazy screams that will caress and shake your eardrum equally.
