Stinky release new single/video ‘Under Care’ featuring Comeback Kid’s Andrew Neufeld

As we head towards the release of the eagerly anticipated 2025 album from France’s STINKY, the band aids the temptation by delivering another solid track in the shape of new digital single and music video for “Under Care”. What makes “Under Care” even more special of a track is STINKY enlist the help of friend and inspiration Andrew Neufeld, singer of COMEBACK KID

“Under Care” is effective and varied, mixing punk/hardcore parts, heady choruses, break-downs and pop-influenced clean vocals. Power and sharp melodies are the main ingredients, with intense lyrics intertwining emotional dependence and drug dependence. The track is a fine summary of the band’s new influences, promising a federative album.

“Under Care”, like previous singles “Alignment”, “Down in the Dumps”, and “Moonbow” are all part of the new STINKY album ‘Solace’ due out Feb 21st on M-Theory Audio. ‘Solace’ was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Fabien Guilloteau (Hacride, Klone, The Necromancers).

Solace’ is available to preorder now on limited-edition colored vinyl (white & green marble (EU) or green splatter on clear (US), CD or digital at THIS LOCATION

STINKY demonstrate their desire to explore new horizons, and promise a varied and ever more melodic album,” explains drummer Paul Saltet

Solace’ comes 5 years since the band’s previous full-length, ‘Of Lost Things,’ was released, and while the group’s sound is intact several new members have joined the band leaving just the core of drummer Paul and vocalist Clair. The 3 new members — Max on bass and Enzo and Clément on guitars — remain true to the group’s original mission and sound while expanding the palette created. The group has been active playing shows all over France, including key festivals like Hellfest, Omega Sound Fest, Brut’fier, SidFest, WeMetal Fest, and Nantes Metal Fest, as well as getting over to the UK for Manchester Punk Festival.

Since their formation a decade ago, STINKY has played more than 350 concerts across 15 different countries in support of their first three albums, 2015’s ‘Against Wind and Tide,’ 2017’s ‘From Dead-End Street,’ and 2020’s ‘Of Lost Things.’ While the band’s name might seem curious to some, their music is a combustible mix of energy and aggression with enough melody to keep it catchy and infectious.

More new music and information from ‘Solace’ will be released in the months leading up to its release.
