After all this time in lockdown, concerts are allowed again. One of the early birds festivals is the Free Trax festival in Roeselare where, amongst others, Spoil Engine played a set. Almost 2 years after their ‘Renaissance Noire’ album release show (16 nov 2019) and shortly after their epic appearance at Alcatraz 2021, they hit this stage in their hometown again. Same venue, only outdoors this time. Off course we wanted to go take a look, especially since their genre is a little different than the rest of the bands invited and therefore quite remarkable. […] The second band then was Spoil Engine. A strange choice in the rest of the line up, but good to attract people. If not for the handful of their loyal fans that showed up (some came only to see Spoil Engine, others stayed to attend the rest of the festival), then for the rest of the people who started showing up and wondered what all that noise was all about. The fans even managed to create a small moshpit while the others took a step back and watched everything questionably.
