Tasting
The ‘Disco APA’ pours with a strong white head that lingers, and the beer itself has the slightly hazy typical orange/amber color of an American Pale Ale. The aroma is a little bit soapy, probably due to the specific hops used, but mostly we detect a yeasty, piney and fruity smell. When tasting we are met by a high amount of carbonation. The flavor itself is slightly sweet from the malts with a piney touch from the hops. The bitterness is definitely not strong and the beer tastes good, it’s not the fullest of flavors. We’d say even borderline watery.
Packaging

The label shows off the humorous side of Turmion Kätilöt with a rather hilarious design. Where the faces of the band members are obviously photoshopped on an old-timey picture of some bare-chested disco dancers in front of a huge disco ball. A great reference to their music being called “disco metal” at times.
