The “Heathen Crusade” tour pulled up to Het Entrepot in Bruges on a sunday evening, but despite the timing the atmosphere did not feel like end of the weekend downer at all.
Der Weg Einer Freiheit, Moonsorrow and Primordial were in good spirits and got the fire flowing in the crowd. You can take that almost literally because for one of the first warmer days of the year, the temperature inside kept on rising as time went on.
To the locals, Bruges sometimes feels like a bit of a metal dead zone, so it is great to see this tour as the first show taking place in the city this year with Kamelot already anounced later in the year at the same venue.
