By pure coincidence and sheer luck we discovered that there was a small indoor punk and hardcore festival taking place in the city of Hyvinkää. The DIY attitude of HVNK PNKRCK seemed high up on the list for the organization of the event and with mostly Finnish bands (and one Welsh) this really seemed like the place to be for a few intense nights of music. Throw on top the fact that they’re sponsored by Brewdog and thus had the “Punk IPA” on offer at a (for Finnish standards) very reasonable price and you know you’re in for one hell of a night… Here you can see pictures of the 2 days of local hardcore and punk madness!
