We went to see a sold out show of Korpiklaani, Heidevolk and Arkona, and as per usual when either Heidevolk or Korpiklaani plays in Belgium the energy among the crowd is just astonishing. Trollfest started out first, but sadly we had to miss those to interview Heidevolk and Korpiklaani (keep an eye on our page to see when those come out). Arkona followed and put down a great show, or should I say ritual? With their new album the show felt more like a ritual to me, you can check out the album review of “Khram” here. Then one of my personal favourites: Heidevolk. Heidevolk also released a new album not that long ago (review here), and they played quite a few songs from it as well as some classics. I really enjoyed how they brought “A wolf in My Heart” and I actually never expected them to play “Yngwaz’ Zonen”, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Then, the last show of the day: Korpiklaani. it’s always a party to see them live, and this time was no different. However, enough of my rambling, you can check out our full review of the show here. Enjoy the photos, and if you were present that evening, don’t hesitate to tell us what you thought!
