35 years. That’s how long it’s been since Agnostic Front recorded their earth shattering debut album “Victim In Pain”. A reason to celebrate. And why not with a tour while we’re at it?!
On Friday November 22nd Agnostic Front passed through Belgium and added a stop at De Casino, Sint Niklaas. Through a twist of fate we unfortunately missed This Means War, but if they were half as good as the others that played this night they ripped the place apart. Second opener for this feast was The Take. Some good ol’ New York City hardcore oi punk. Straight forward, energizing, … Just the way we like it.
This Means War and The Take didn’t only warm the crowd up for Agnostic Front. They properly heated them to nuclear fusion temperatures. Proof of this was the mere beginning of the gig. Vinnie Stigma got on stage, walking from left to right and back, taunting the crowd. The moment Stigma played that first note and Roger Miret entered the stage the room just imploded. About 12 seconds and 8 stage divers later all photographers fled the front row. Ankles got twisted, cameras got stepped on, backs got bruised, … In summary: a f*cking great show. Happy anniversary “Victim In Pain”! And happy birthday Vinnie Stigma! (03/12)
