Norwegian punk/hardcore unit The Mansters announced new album ‘Lessons In Giving Up’
Influenced by the punk and hardcore scenes from the 80’s and early 90’s, Norwegian audio terrorists THE MANSTERS have released a demo, three EPs and a full-length album since their inception in 2006.
Now in 2023, seven long years following their self-titled debut album, the five-piece group from Tønsberg are back with a new full-length titled “The Lessons In Giving Up”, due out on June 2nd via Loyal Blood Records.
Recorded by Ruben Willem at Caliban Studio Storsjøen, “The Lessons In Giving Up” is a high-powered and raucous 8-track effort that sees The Mansters merging the raw aggression of punk with the pummeling fury of hardcore. It’s a tried and tested formula that falls somewhere between, Poison Idea, Rotting Out and The Good, The Bad and The Zugly and can create some serious havoc in the moshpit.

Says the band:
“Norway is a nation of entertainers. We all play in rock bands and everyone has their own podcast. This song is about seeking attention, acceptance and finding your own place in the Norwegian entertainment hierarchy.”
