New stage on Alcatraz Festival 2019! Support your locals!

If you think Alcatraz Festival was out of surprises, you’re wrong. They decided to introduce a third stage in addition to the SWAMP and PRISON. In addition to make that possible they move EL PRESIDIO back into its original marquee, which creates the perfect venue for LA MORGUE. I love the name already.

The line-up for this new stage consists of Alkerdeel (black/doom metal – BE), An Evening With Knives (post-metal/rock – NL), Black Mirrors (indie/alternative – BE), Cowboys & Aliens (heavy rock – BE), Deserted Fear (death metal – DE), Fire Down Below (psychedelic stoner rock),  Glowsun (psychedelic rock – FR), Hemelbestormer (post-rock), Maudlin (psychedelic rock – BE), Miava (instrumental post-metal – BE), Psychonaut (psychedelic sludge – BE), Speedozer (speed rock – BE), Tangled Horns (grunge, stoner-rock – BE), The Spirit (DE) and Wolvennest (psychedelic dark rock).

A nice addition of smaller and more local bands to the festival if you ask me. Tickets are still available here in case you haven’t ordered them yet.
