Hide unveil second single off of “Castration Anxiety”
Chicago-based industrial duo HIDE will release their debut full-length album Castration Anxiety on March 23rd via Dais Records. A bit ago, the band has unveiled the album’s second single in music video form; check out the stark, virulent, visual representation of “F*cked (I Found Heaven)”:
Formed in 2014 as a collaboration between vocalist Heather Gabel and percussionist Seth Sher, HIDE has spent the past three years aggressively rendering a spate of singles and EPs. Castration Anxiety follows 2017’s highly acclaimed and politically charged Black Flame EP, yet another demonstration of the duo’s unrelenting fury. HIDE has also spent time trekking out of the studio and onto the national stage, playing alongside related acts such as Ceremony and Champagne Mirrors, as well as providing main support for Marilyn Manson during The Pale Emperor tour.
Today, HIDE is embarking on a U.S. tour, playing select shows in midwest and east coast with ADULT.; a full list of dates and cities can be found below. Those familiar with HIDE’s provocative live performances will be accustomed to the hypnotic low-end and sinister vocal delivery that is prevalent on Castration Anxiety. As for those who have yet to witness the raw power of the tempestuous duo…well, you’ll learn soon enough.
More information regarding Castration Anxiety will surface soon, in addition to news about a full U.S. tour. In the meantime, the album is available for pre-order from Dais Records.
