Harakiri For The Sky release Radiohead cover ‘Street Spirit (Fade Out)’
On January 24th, Austrian post metal visionaries Harakiri For The Sky will release their new album “Scorched Earth”, via AOP Records, but with this new single – an atmospheric Radiohead ballad – they are showing a completely different side of themselves.
“Street Spirit (Fade Out)” featuring PG of Groza is available for streaming here: https://youtu.be/nl1LDdcgBjY
The band comments:
“We chose to cover ‘Street Spirit’ because it resonates deeply with the emotions that drive our music—a haunting reflection of despair and hope. We loved Radiohead’s masterpiece ever since its release and it also reflects our 90s indie rock roots. Therefore we felt compelled to reinterpret it in our own style together with our good friend, PG of Groza, who brought another layer of raw intensity and allowed us to capture the song’s deep melancholy.”
