Hammerheart Records signs Swedish atmospheric Black Metal outfit Jord! Their new album “Tundra” is set for a release this October on CD, LP and digital!

Jord is an atmospheric Black Metal band with Blackgaze and Post Rock influences. Based in Sweden the inspiration comes from northern nature, folk lore, mysticism and a man’s relation to this part of the earth. Jord went from a one man band to a trio recently and did a full studio recording of the third album “Tundra” in this new band setting that includes Sebastian Svedlund on guitar, Stefan Jansson on drums and founding member Jörgen Ström on bass and vocals.

Jord comments on the signing:

Packaged with a beautiful layout, and tone giving artwork, this album tells a story about power struggles, battles with northern nature and its mysterious folklore. Musically its a span from classic Swedish Black Metal to modern Post Rock.
