Finnish synth pop outfit Dreadsunshine released new single ‘Sailor’

“Sailor” is a new single by Finnish synth-pop band Dreadsunshine and it features Finnish songstress Amilí on guest vocals. The single is released in cooperation with Secret Entertainment.

The band’s mastermind Tero Hautamäki comments on the single: 

“It is a plaintive and fateful story about a sailor who decide to give in to nature and mysticism in the middle of the roaring ocean. Vocals & lyrics are done by talented Amilí. Her beautiful voice sounds like siren’s singing on the ocean of synthwave.” 

Dreadsunshine is a project from Tero Hautamäki (Marraskuun Lapset, Pastorin Jämät & Wasteland) and Mika Kangas (KOL3RA & Burning Mindfields) where they sail on different waves of 80s electronic music and use guest vocalists.
