Cyan Kicks drop massive new heavy track ‘Echo’ and announce debut UK headline tour dates
Marking the third single taken from Cyan Kicks‘ upcoming mysterious new project, “Echo” offers a fiery and heartfelt ode to love found within one’s deepest and darkest moments. Balancing ethereal sweetness and nu-wave heavy, it serves as a bold reminder of their extraordinary songwriting.
The latest full-length offering from Cyan Kicks, 2023’s “I Never Said 4ever”, was born out of the deep dive of memories collected during formative years as early 20-somethings for the Helsinki natives. Their distinct autobiographical writing style envelopes all of the honesty, strength, disillusionment, restlessness, dazzling highs and bittersweet lows of one trying to navigate a new life and what yet lies ahead.
The band’s inherent transformative ability to delve into vulnerabilities whilst providing a voice of true fortitude speaks strongly to the Finns deep-rooted inner strength and sense of self, simply known as “Sisu”.
Long-lasting relationships often form the strongest of bonds and, since their first full formation back in 2016, lead songwriters Susanna Alexandra and Niila Perkkio (vocals and guitar), together with bassist Leevi Erkkila and drummer Pietari Reijonen have cultivated a dedicated international fanbase based on their unique vivid dream-rock sound, claiming a space all their own within the alternative world.
Alongside the recently announced UK appearances Radar Festival and 2000 Trees Festival next Summer, Cyan Kicks are also kicking off their EU co-headline tour with Autumn Kings and have released their very first full UK headline tour dates coming up later this Summer. The full UK tour dates are:
