The summer festival season is over, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of exciting fests happening over the next couple of months this autumn/winter in Finland with Helsinki Techfest and Kaamos Metal Cruise already this weekend, HKI SKEPU FEST V, Lost In Music, Steelchaos, Hellsinki Industrial Festival 2023, Fall Fest 2023, Black Box Mikkeli, Melancholy Mass Festival 2023 and Unholy Winter Fest!

Legendary Belgian metal band Channel Zero finally got to celebrate their 30th anniversary (a few years late due to the pandemic) at Cactus Club in Brugge, a small venue that was a perfect setting for an intense, energetic and somewhat intimate show. Support came from modern metal/nu metal stars on the rise Mantah!

Allamedah released their debut EP ‘Alma’ today via UPRISING Records, and is now premiering a video for the title track to celebrate the occasion!

Finnish metal act Palehørse released another single ‘Revival’ with a captivating video, a straightforward rock anthem about fighting depression! Out now via Indie Recordings!

A Life Divided’s new album, ‘Down The Spiral Of A Soul’, feels a little too instantly familiar, but it provides a very easy, fun listening experience. The album was released via AFM Records earlier this summer!

Finnish modern metal outfit Without Warning shared their 5th single ‘Dark Abyss’ via Inverse Records, awakening your emotions!

In anticipation of the release of their new album ‘Human’ on September 15th via Arising Empire, Resolve shares the new single ‘Older Days’ featuring ten56. and Paleface Swiss!

Finnish modern melodic metal band Northern Genocide is back and shared first single ‘Harbingers of Genocide’ from their upcoming second album ‘The Point of No Return’, set for release next year via Inverse Records!

Tuska unleashed the first batch of bands for the 2024 line-up and it seems they put their chips strongly on modern metal/metalcore with Bring Me The Horizon, Bloodred Hourglass, Bury Tomorrow, Make Them Suffer, Infected Rain and Fixation, proggy music with Opeth, Vola, Voyager and Riverside, and power metal with Alestorm, Angus McSix and Brothers Of Metal. And of course, festival regulars Amorphis and Stam1na belong to the party as well!
