Green Day is back with their new album 'Saviors' that came out on January 19th, 2024 on Reprise Records. Another album released in an election year that has at least one song that shows disagreement with how things are going in politics right now in the USA. Simple is definitely a word that gets used a lot with this album, but sometimes the songs are just good and there isn't much else to say.

Nita Strauss released her second album 'Call of the Void' on July 7th 2023. The title might sound rather depressing, but Nita explains that that's not its intention. It's not about jumping in a dark void, or being afraid of the dark or nothingness. It's about the feeling to be alive, and to take a jump to something new, even if you're scared. In the end it feels like 'Call of the Void' lacks unity. But all songs by itself are strong enough to tell their own story.
