Scene Queen brings the yeehaw energy with sassy new track ‘MILF’
Saddle up: Scene Queen is continuing to paint the world pink with an ear-catching new single, “MILF”. The eclectic track is a punchy blend of metal, country, heavy down-tuned guitars and lyrics that will make your mom blush. The song was released just ahead of Scene Queen‘s 2023 fall U.S. tour, many dates of which have already sold out. Scene Queen simultaneously announces her highly-anticipated debut album, “Hot Singles In Your Area”, slated to arrive in Spring 2024. “MILF” is the follow up to their single “Pink Push-Up Bra”, also released through Hopeless Records in September of this year and which Ones to Watch said “reinvents the male-dominated metal music scene”.
Scene Queen shares of the track:
“‘MILF’ is a track I wrote to solidify that bimbocore is any and all genres but the glue that holds it together is sick riffs and chaotic Scene Queen energy. The track came about from sitting with friends and asking what if we took all the most gatekept genres and put them together. And turned into one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written”.
Scene Queen (AKA Hannah Collins) is not here to be quiet, and she is not here to apologize. With lyrics that come for the throat of misogynists and genre purists, Collins is not afraid to disrupt the peace. Don’t be fooled by Scene Queen‘s colorful pink image. She’s as fierce as she is vibrant, with angst packed between every punchy lyric. Scene Queen is the epitome of the new emo scene. A new scene where everyone is welcome. Her music shows the cracks in society and breaks down the walls we put up everyday. To show that although this new scene may look different, we are all pink on the inside.
