Russel Allen and Kobi Farhi perform for “Metal for Autism”
Kobi Farhi (singer of Orphaned Land) joins Russell Allen (Symphony X, Adrenaline Mob, Trans Siberian Orchestra …) tonight and tomorrow at the second tour “Metal For Autism” for the project Magni Animi Viri. The project wants to create Autism awareness and help families pay for their children’s treatment.
Russel Allen will perform live at 11 concerts with support band De La Muerte. Guest performers will be Kobi Farhi from Orphaned Land on March 3, 4 and 5, Marco Basile from DGM on the February 23 and March 11 and the Italian Band Eldritch on the March 3 and 5.
The tour is organized by Rock On Agency and Giancarlo Trotta Entertainment. The organizers explain why their cause is important:
“In the first tour edition we could buy a bus to the medical centre in Salerno. Now we want to do more, because the situation in the south of Italy is different and too many times treatments are too expensive for the families or it’s too hard to reach a big hospital. Heroes Temporis association provides medical assistance (analysis, therapies and so on) for free for all these kids.”
The Metal for Autism-tour started the February 23 and will have 11 concerts until the March 11. For now, the tour will only take place in Italy, but the organization would like to try to involve more countries in the future.
