GRIMM’s Videoland (February 13th – 19th, 2017)
GRIMM Gent aims to please. And we intend to do this by providing you an overview of the new music video releases of the past week. Who knows, maybe you missed something really cool… This reboot will be published every time just at the beginning of the new week, it could possibly give you some tunes to enjoy as a “pick me up” during or after work!

Nuclear Blast started off the weekend with a music video for Immolation‘s Fostering the Divide. The death metal track is part of the upcoming Atonement (February 24th)!
They also released Mourning Palace, a song of the incredible live performance at Wacken of Norwegian black metal giants Dimmu Borgir with almost 100 musicians in action from the Czech National Symphonic Orchestra! This is a part of the in April releasing double live DVD Forces of the Northern Light.

Candlelight Records makes us happy with a 10 minute masterpiece of a video and song by Finnish Shade Empire that can rival with fellow countrymen Wintersun‘s work! The song is called Anti-Life Saviour and could hint at what is yet to come by the melodic death/black metal masters!

You can get a look at Papa Roach going crazy in what looks like a backstage area on the first single Crooked Teeth that has an old school Papa Roach vibe, from their upcoming album that’ll be released through Eleven Seven Music!

Necromancing The Stone released an official video for Bleed for the Night from their album Jewel of the Vile, released last year through Metal Blade Records!

Post-punk/post-metal outfit Junius threw their different music styles together into yet another great sound on Clean the Beast. A track from their upcoming album Eternal Rituals for the Accretion of Light, to be released on March 3rd through Prosthetic Records.

LA-based melodic death metal band Once Human released their third single on us this week. The band, with female vocalist Lauren Hart and music producer (and former Soulfly/Machine Head guitarist) Logan Mader, shows how brutal they can get with the track Dark Matter from their second album Evolution, out now through earMUSIC!

To end this week’s article something a little bit different: Linkin Park released the first single of their upcoming album. As noted by many people and fans, they made a really distinct different sounding track with Heavy, which is the furtest from heavy as it could be. The song with singer-songwriter Kiiara sounds quite much in the direction of a more poppy song and heavy is mainly referring to the content of the lyrics.
