Belgian rock band Scarved announces a line-up change!
Belgian rock band Scarved just announced that they’re switching out their rhythm section for a couple of new forces in the team! Read their statement here:
New rhythm section for SCARVED!
As Roman briefly emigrates to the other side of the world and it became increasingly difficult for Geert to continue combining Scarved with his work for Lords Of Acid and Praga Khan, Scarved was forced to gradually look for a new rhythm section. Considering the required technical level it was not an easy task, but with pride we can announce that the band has succeeded in finding 2 fully-fledged substitutes.
From now on the drumming at Scarved will be provided by Kjell de Raes, a young percussion percussionist. Kjell is a multi – percussionist (master class) and besides being classical, he is passionate about metal and (prog) rock. In the meantime he already earned his spurs at various bands such as Royal Jake, Circle Unbroken, Cygnus e.a.
From now on, the bass lines will come from Vincent De Laat, an experienced comedian in the profession and, like Luc, a big fan of Geddy Lee‘s bassplay at Rush. Vincent can already look back on a richly filled career in both the rock, metal and jazz world and in recent years he has mainly been known for his bass work with, among others, Rik Priems PRIME and Circle Unbroken.
Thank you so much Geert for all your efforts for the band SCARVED and to give everything from the beginning! We’re going to miss you!!
Roman, a big big thanks for replacing Wim for a short period so that our planned performances could continue. We wish you a lot of succes with realizing your dreams and challenges!
