GRIMM Extreme Fest @ Minus One Ghent
Thank you all for being there! Our first fest was a success with many more to come! Special thanks to our volunteers who have shown that this organisations first and foremost asset is friendship!
Last weekend, our first indoor festival took place at the Minus One in Ghent. We brought you the finest of contemporary extreme metal bands that are out there. Saturday, Ghent has shivered upon its foundations due to the sheer audio violence it endured by the hands of this impressive line-up.
The ritual started with our very own Lichtschade at 15:30, an intense ritualistic set that lead our introspection to the deepest corners of our own mind. Here you can get a some footage of his ritual held at the Kinky Star Ghent.
The second act of the day was Drawn Into Descent, one of Belgiums most promising new Bleck Metal formations. They were the embodiment of pure misanthropy and despair.
Third up was be the British horde Stahlsarg, who were determined to bring complete annihilation with their furious blend of Death and Black metal. They succeeded.
The fourth performance was done by the Belgian necromantic quartet Herfst, they have been around since the late nineties but aren’t showing any signs of slowing down anytime soon.
Also hailing from Belgium was the epic Black Metal allstar band Saille. Though melodic, they don’t back down or slow their pace at any point. They are known to blow away their public by intricate symphonies
The grand finale of this day filled with extreme music was the German panzer division Endstille. We expected no mercy from this war machine, and we received none!
See you at our next fest!
