Kaiser signs to Majestic Mountain Records & unveils new single ‘Brotha’

,

Majestic Mountain is proud to welcome Finnish stoner rock band Kaiser, who will be releasing their highly anticipated second album, 2nd Sound, on March 7, 2025.

Formed in 2013, the band—Otu (guitar/vocals), RiQ (drums), and Pex (bass)—has steadily carved their own path through the Finnish rock scene with their signature sound, influenced by the likes of KyussSleep, and High on Fire.

The first taste of the new album comes in the form of the crushing new single, “Brotha,” which premiered exclusively at Invisible Oranges. The site aptly described the track as “pure, unrepentant rock,” stating that it sits at the sonic heart of 2nd Sound.

About the new single, the band shared their thoughts:

“This song is for Riku’s older brother, who passed away three years ago. It’s about the words Riku didn’t have the chance to express, as well as the gratitude for everything that was shown and taught to him.”

The band explains about their new partnership with Majestic Mountain Records

“We are so stoked about the signing and collaboration with Majestic Mountain as we finally get a continuance to the 1st Sound. It was hard to hunt in the post-COVID flood, where releases burst out like mushrooms in the rain. The strangest thing was, that the artwork designer Johan Erenius (Mango Beard), the master engineer, and Majestic Mountain are all friends together. We didn’t know that as we were choosing these services, like seeing the pieces go together in this puzzle.”

Kaiser first made waves in 2014 with their self-titled EP, followed by their debut album, 1st Sound, in 2018. Their live shows are an unforgettable experience—intense, sweaty, and powerful, leaving audiences feeling like they’ve survived a musical storm. 2nd Sound promises to continue their journey with even more molten riffs and crushing intensity, solidifying Kaiser as a staple in stoner rock. Pre-orders are now available at this location
