‘God Of Pain’ starts off with an instrumental orchestrated intro quickly followed by pounding drums but then holy shit. They switch to this brutal and inhuman piece of deathcore, filthy, dark and I like it. This isn’t a band we can throw on the pile of shit. This guys really stick out with their sound that is inspired by Lorna Shore. But switching from catchy choruses to that brutal and filthy sound, well, it really works. Then we have ‘Cursed’ that has that orchestra in the background, just like our friends from Shadow Of Intent. But it really levels this sound to a higher level, but when you think that this is it? There’s a surprise in the end where Jonatan (vocals) shows us what he can do with his voice. This is deathcore in his purest form.
Time flies when you’re having fun. Only 2 songs left. ‘Rains Of Damnation’ has more influences from black metal but has learned from the best. I hear some Carnifex coming our way. Will Ramos from Lorna Shore has his fame about the range of his voice. Well, have a listen to this guy just like Will Ramos that nobody knew about. And now ladies and gentlemen my absolute favorite of this 4 track EP called like the release ‘Endless Discord.’ With this last song, these guys show us who they are, and they are here to stay. Why is this the best song? Somewhere in the middle, there is a solo hidden that just gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. So this band not only has wicked vocals but a wicked guitar player as well and near the end a brutal vocal piece to underline the strength of these guys.
I really enjoyed this and these guys will have a place in my top 10 of the year 2024. I really look forward to more stuff of these guys. To be continued…
REVIEW SCORE
8.8 | The new face of deathcore has arrived. If you thought Lorna Shore is a thing, well, you never heard of Enemies Everywhere before. Where Lorna blew you away with a full-length, these guys only need 4 songs. Check it out. |
