The band comments on ‘You’ll Never Know’:

“’You’ll Never Know’ was one the first demos I started myself from scratch, which was extremely hard, but somehow within an hour or so I had a pretty strong instrumental idea that we developed into what you can hear now. As I was writing it, I knew right away what this song was going to be about. Having difficult relationships with parents is very hard, apparently, it was something I had to deal with for the first time and in the worst possible circumstance, while your home country is at war with its neighbor, and while being on the opposite sides of the Earth with your parents. So I think this song captured my feelings very accurately. I hope it will give strength to someone else going through conflicts alike.” – Sasha

“One of my goals on The Pain That Makes Us Grow was to encourage Sasha to be brave, bold and embrace her own insecurities when it comes to being creative, help her overcome self-doubt and teach her to see past ideas that might look rough at first, to see the forest for the trees. It’s a truly liberating and breathtaking feeling when you see your own ideas come to life and transform into a banger. I’m super-proud of her progress, and ‘You’ll Never Know’ was born from this struggle with herself. Can’t wait for everyone to hear what else Sasha’s been working on.” – Andrey
